King Oyster
A thick‑stemmed, meaty mushroom prized for its dense texture and rich browning.

- Flavour: Deep umami, firm, excellent for searing
- Beginner difficulty: Moderate — needs good airflow and cooler temps for thick stems

- Notes: High CO₂ or warm temps cause cap‑heavy growth instead of thick stems
Lions Mane
A cascading white mushroom with long icicle‑like spines and a delicate seafood‑style texture.

- Beginner difficulty: Moderate — sensitive to drying and needs stable humidity + airflow
